Understand cash refunds, automatic generation-credit returns and technical recovery, including deadlines and the information support needs.

On this page

There are three different remedies: a cash refund of an eligible payment, a returned generation credit after a qualifying failure, and one eligible technical-recovery attempt. They do not mean the same thing. Simply disliking the song does not automatically qualify you for cash back or a free new recording.

Under the current policy, a cash-refund request must be made within seven days, or 168 hours, of payment, and no credit from that payment may have been used. A credit spent on a failed song and returned automatically is treated as unused. That detail matters: the rule is based on the payment's credit records, not merely on whether you once pressed a generation button.

This article explains the formal refund policy, checked on November 5, 2026. It is not a new policy or an individual eligibility decision. The formal terms preserve rights you have under applicable consumer law; this explanation does not remove them.

Check the payment before requesting money back

Every payment is assessed separately. That includes each one-time pack, the initial membership payment and each monthly or yearly renewal. The seven-day clock runs from the payment time shown on the order, not from the day you remembered to open the site or decided you no longer wanted the song.

A credit normally counts as used when you start creating a song with it. Deleting the song or disliking the result does not reverse that usage. The stated exception is a failed-song credit automatically returned to the account, which the policy treats as unused.

SituationWhat the published rule means
Request within 168 hours; no credit from that payment usedMeets the stated cash-refund conditions, subject to verification
At least one credit from the payment remains usedThat payment is not refundable in full or part under the unused-payment rule
A failed-song credit was returned automaticallyThat credit is treated as unused; check the rest of the payment and the time window
Request after seven daysOutside the stated time condition; applicable statutory rights remain preserved
Cancel a membershipStops future renewals under the terms; cancellation itself is not a refund

For example, if you buy a three-credit pack and use one credit on a completed song, the remaining two unused credits do not create a partial refund right under this policy. If the only spent credit instead failed and was automatically returned, the payment may still satisfy the unused-credit condition, provided the other conditions also hold. These are explanatory scenarios, not actual approved claims.

Credits are spent in order of expiry, according to the policy. That means the credit used for a song may not come from the payment you assume. Support can consult the credit records; a screenshot of the total balance alone does not establish which payment was used.

Understand failed delivery and the one-hour rule

If every version fails before the deadline, automatic generation-credit return starts early. If no verified playable audio is delivered within one hour of acceptance and credit deduction, the credit is also returned under the recovery process. The next recovery check, scheduled every five minutes, starts compensation after the deadline. Processing or service outages may delay the return.

This does not guarantee a finished song within an hour or a balance update at exactly minute 60. It also does not mean a returned credit has become cash in your bank account. If verified playable audio is delivered within the hour, the generation credit is not automatically returned merely because you prefer a different result.

A useful first step is to identify the actual symptom. Is the generation still pending? Is there no playable audio? Does a completed recording fail to play? Or does it play normally but contain a name or melody you dislike? Those observations help separate delivery failure, technical damage and subjective dissatisfaction without pretending that the reader can decide recovery eligibility alone.

Eligible technical recovery is free and limited to one attempt, with no success guarantee. It is different from actively regenerating music, which uses another credit. A pronunciation preference or a request for a different arrangement does not automatically become a technical fault. Check the current support guidance rather than repeatedly generating and assuming the extra attempts will be reimbursed.

If the credit remains missing after the expected recovery process, contact support. Keep the task reference and a factual description of the visible state. This guide does not promise immediate support intervention or a particular compensation-processing duration.

Send a useful request and understand the next step

When support is available, sign in using the account that made the payment and use the site's support button or support tickets. For a payment refund, include the order number. For a generation problem, also include the relevant song or task reference and what failed. There is no need to send passwords, a complete card number or unrelated account screenshots.

You can prepare this note:

I am asking about a cash refund / missing credit return / possible technical recovery. Order reference: ___. Payment time shown on the order: ___. Song or task reference, if relevant: ___. Current visible status: ___. What happened and when: ___. Any automatic credit return already visible: ___.

Keep the request specific. “I cannot play the file on this device; the player shows this error” is more useful than “the song is bad.” If the concern is pronunciation or taste, say that honestly; do not describe it as file corruption to obtain a different remedy.

Approved cash refunds go back through Stripe to the original payment method. Credits from the refunded payment are removed. The policy says banks usually show the refund within 5–10 business days; this is a stated usual banking window, not a guaranteed arrival date. If a membership payment is refunded, that membership period ends immediately under the policy.

Do failed songs always mean cash back? No. Automatic generation-credit return is a separate process; cash refunds have their own conditions.

Can I get unlimited free retries? No. Eligible technical recovery is limited to one attempt, and elective regeneration uses credits.

Can I refund a payment after using one of its credits? Not under the unused-payment rule unless the relevant usage is treated as unused, such as an automatically returned failed-song credit, and the remaining conditions are satisfied.

What if I simply dislike the song? That does not automatically create refund or free-regeneration eligibility.
